The Given Day

The Given Day is probably a great story. Dennis Lehane is that awesome. That said, I'm not very impressed. After reading Mystic River & Shutter Island (not in that order), The Given Day is disappointing due to the absence a similar type of psychological novel.

I guess it's time to go get Gone Baby Gone.
