I learned today that Asian-American men are less like to be admitted to med school than White men, due to over-representation in the profession (though both Whites & Asian-Americans are "over-represented").
Steve McNair, NFL QB that led the Titans to the Super Bowl in 1999 and NFL co-MVP in 2003, was found shot to death this morning in Nashville. Authorities still aren't quite sure what happened.
Monday (aka tomorrow): Human Anatomy lab quiz on body wall muscles/vessels & the thoracic & abdominal cavities.
Thursday: Human Physiology test.
Friday: Physics lab, with homework due (luckily I'm done with that). Sometime this week: Turn in econometrics homework. What the hell is heteroscedasticity?
Saturday: Work (Fuck... I'll probably spend more time at work than sleeping these next 2 weeks). I hate how they require you to work on Saturdays... it's a pain, and it's killing me.
Next Monday: Human Anatomy lab quiz on the abdominal vessels and male/female genital anatomy. Plus, the pelvis model is due as well.
Next Thursday: Human Anatomy text. For the last test, I got 5 hours of sleep over the 2 nights before because I had to study. It'll be around the same this time.
Next Friday: Physics lab. No homework, I don't think... which is very good.
Sometime that week: Econometrics take-home exam due (actually due on Sunday the 15th...). Requires doing regressions on excel. Luckily for me, Microsoft decided to be stupid and not include the Data Analysis Pack with Excel 08.
The only redeeming quality for March? Yep... March Madness. Well, and my half-birthday... but yeah... it's only a half-birthday. And that's no fun.
I hereby propose a moment of silence (delayed, unfortunately, because I've been feeling under the weather) for the awesome author/writer/producer/director Michael Crichton.
RIP dude... your awesomeness will be greatly missed.
