My New Year's Eve

For those of you that care...

I watched a bit of the Bones 2.5 hour 'marathon' (not really a marathon, because it was just 1 show). I watched the end of the Georgia Tech/LSU game blowout. I watched Darwaza Bandh Rakho (an awesome Hindi comedy), and I went to bed at 11:00. PM.

Let's blame the early night on a headache (which I did have), though truthfully... I had no interest in staying up to watch a rerun of the ball dropping in NY at midnight.

If You Want To Watch TV Tonight...

Bones starts at 7 PM MST on FOX, and runs for 2+ hours. It's the season premiere from this season, which isn't cool because I've already seen it.

There's also Shrek 2 (also a 7 PM MST, on ABC I think). It's not the greatest of the Shrek movies, but it features Puss In Boots (awesome) and some great quotes. Such as...

Donkey: What about my Miranda rights? You're supposed to say, "You have the right to remain silent." Nobody said I have the right to remain silent!
Shrek: Donkey, you HAVE the right to remain silent. What you lack is the capacity.
Puss-in-Boots: [camera shows just Puss] I must hold on before I, too, go totally mad.
Gingerbread Man: Shrek? Donkey?
Puss-in-Boots: [looks up to see fairy tale creatures above him] Too late.

and, not much later...

Shrek: Quick tell a lie!
Pinocchio: What should I say?
Donkey: Say something crazy... like you're wearing ladies underwear.
Pinocchio: Um, ok. I'm wearing ladies underwear.
Pinocchio: [silence]
Shrek: Are you?
Pinocchio: I most certainly am not.
Pinocchio: [nose extends] .
Donkey: It looks like you most certainly am are.
Pinocchio: I am not.
Pinocchio: [nose extends]

Donkey: Oh, man! Where do I begin? First there was the time the farmer traded me for some magic beans. I ain't never gotten over that. Then this fool went off and had a party, and they all starting trying to pin a tail on me. Then they all got drunk, and started hitting me with sticks, yelling "Piñata! Piñata!" What the hell is a piñata, anyway?

It's finally back. It's been at least a week, maybe 2. In other words, 3 weeks too long.

In case it can't be told, I don't mind this World Series (my first 3 posts now are about it). In fact, this is the most excited I've been about a WS in, well... ever (and at the end will, at worst, be the 4th best one, behind the ARI/NYY one, the FLA/NYY and the LAAA/SF one)... but I miss Bones. And there's no Bones today because of baseball.
