For fun, here's a blog that will scan your blog (fairly quickly at that) and tell you your psychological profile. What's scary is that it actually works in this case... well, except for the physical outdoor activities part. (HT: Greg Mankiw's Blog)
ESTP - The Doers
[ESTP]
The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.
The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.
Analysis
This show what parts of the brain that were dominant during writing.
What's sad is then I entered my LJ "blog" and it came up with this...
ESFP - The Performers
[ESFP]
The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.
The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.
This also mostly fits... though I'm not sure about the "entertaining and friendly type". You'd have to ask my friends about them. Oh, and the "fabrics, colors & smells" thing. I'm really indifferent to that.
And just for fun, my Utah Jazz blog came up with a 3rd result. So it seems that my psychological profile changes depending on the blog I'm writing. Interesting.
