Baadshah (1999)

I'll be honest... I hate Shahrukh Khan. His recent movies have been utter crap, and he seems to think that he's the best (he's not). That said, some of his past movies have been a lot of fun.

Baadshah is one of them.

SRK plays a private detective. His mission is to save the kidnapped girl. There's a mix-up... 3 Baadshah's, & 2 "bachchi's" (bachchi means girl, but the bad guys think he's saying bachchi when referring to chief minister Gayatri Bachchan, who they want to kill) and before you know it, everyone is confused as to what's happening & what they're supposed to be doing.

Twinkle Khanna isn't much of an actress, from what I've seen, but is alright here. That said, while I don't every really care much, her wardrobe is kinda bad (to be nice). She's the love interest (obviously), but isn't just there to "dance & look pretty".

Johnny Lever is alright... his role seems kinda reserved compared to what we're used to.

The songs are nice... like the title song, and Main To Hoon Pagal is a hoot as well. The couple of songs with Twinkle & SRK are meh... not great, but not bad either.
