36 China Town (2006)

36 China Town is easily one of my favorite Bollywood suspense movies. A rich owner of a hotel is killed soon after celebrating the fact that her previously missing kid has been found. Of course, she is killed before the kid can be returned to her.

A classic 'who done it' mystery, as we see random bits from the eyes (not literally) of all 7 suspects and the detective as he tries to peace together what has happened and who truly committed the murder... with multiple suspects who had entered her house around the time of the murder.

Shahid Kapoor was solid. Kareena Kapoor was annoying, as usual. Johnny Lever is great, though a bit loud. Tanaaz Currim is good. Paresh Rawal is fine. Payal Rohatgi is meh... just there to show skin, it seems. Upen Patel is fine. Akshaye Khanna is good as the detective. Isha Koppikar has a really small role.

My favorite is Vivek Shaq, who I've been a fan of ever since I saw him in Dil Hai Tumhara.

Good songs too... I really like Aashiqui Me Teri (sung before Himesh became annoying) and Badi Dilchaspi Hai (sung by the amazing KK).
