So, below I listed that the "1 in 200 kids is a vegetarian" stat seemed a bit high. Then I thought about it. If you're willing to accept the fact that I'm calling myself & all my college friends kids, I have 221 "friends" according to Facebook (easiest way to think about this). Just using that, I can think of 5 that are vegetarian/vegan (and there's probably more)... 2 because of animal rights, 3 because of religious views/upbringing. That ends up being 5/220 (approximately), which is 1-in-44... a lot higher than 1-in-200.
And then you have the "partial vegetarians", which I refuse to count.
In other words, please disregard the majority of my last post.
