Maharathi (2008)

So, Maharathi was one of the movies on my "Movies To See" list (left side of the blog). I finally got around to seeing it.

Nice suspense, though you know what's happening before you'd like to (for an actual suspense). Solid acting from underrated actors (Neha Dhupia, Tara Sharma) and from the vets (Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Boman Irani, Om Puri) carry this movie.

Guy kills himself... tells his wife that she can only get the money he has (he's rich, thinks she's just after his money) if she can prove that his suicide (which it was... he shot himself in front of her & the chauffeur) was actually murder. Due to the amount of money involved, the 2 of them (wife, chauffeur) decide to hide the body & find a way to make it murder. Meanwhile, his lawyer, a caretaker and a cop all get entangled in the mess as well.
