A bit back, I made the mistake of sleeping through my bus stop. And because UTA is STUPID, they have no bus going back the opposite direction until the next morning! And given that I didn't have a cell phone and all, I ended up walking back home. 40 blocks. Let me just say, total pain in the ass. And another reason UTA is STUPID! (I promised more on this topic later, and it's getting closer to that point every day as UTA gets dumber & dumber). Anyhow, back to the secondary topic. I've gotten really good about making sure I don't miss my stop. Literally, I pop up either right as we get off of I-215 or when we pass the McDonalds. Always. Some sort of an internal clock works in my head now, pretty much every night when I'm heading back home (or on the way there, in the rare occasion that I sleep on the way to the U). Back to the main topic... I got so engrossed in the book that I missed my stop. (Luckily, I had extra time to get to work.)
Seriously, the book is that good. I'm not big on historical fiction (at least, I don't think I am), but Steve Berry's books are amazing.
The Templar Legacy, The Romanov Prophecy, this book... The Amber Room, The Third Secret, The Alexandria Link, The Venetian Betrayal... they're all amazing.
And as his home page states...
He's presently writing the next Cotton Malone adventure.
I can't wait!
